A focus on responsibility
At Stock Group, we strive to take responsibility for the world we live in. This also means that we place demands on our partners and our suppliers.
We don’t believe that ultimatums necessarily instigate change, but we do believe that actively engaging and collaborating together for better solutions moves things forward.
PFAS
Secondly, we are heavily focused on ensuring that our products are PFAS-free, and have already made significant progress in this area. Stock Group now offers PFAS-free pots, pans and air fryers.
Stock Group has yet to fully achieve an entirely PFAS-free product range, but we are working diligently towards reaching that goal.
FSC-certified wood
All our wood products or products containing wood are made from FSC-certified wood.
Through forest certification, FSC helps ensure favourable conditions for biodiversity, the aquatic environment, indigenous peoples and forest workers around the world, in addition to encouraging democracy and education locally. FSC also ensures that the forest area remains the same generation after generation, and prevents deforestation.
Stock Group is also cracking down on packaging waste, and all cardboard and packaging at the company is, or will be, recycled whenever possible.
Stock Group believes that focusing on development and improvements in the future is the right way forward. That is why we are in a constant and ongoing process of developing the company in all areas. We believe we can do even better tomorrow than we did today.
El-Retur
Elretur is Denmark’s largest producer responsibility organization, representing many different industries and types of companies. We handle the producer responsibility obligations for electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries on behalf of our more than 950 members. In other words, Elretur ensures responsible and cost-effective collection and treatment of approx. 80% of the electronics and battery waste that is delivered in Denmark’s recycling centres. You have probably seen our containers at your local recycling centre.
BSCI focus at Stock Group
Stock Group highly values employee relations with our business partners and suppliers. That is why they have all signed the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), an association of companies committed to respecting human rights and fundamental labour rights.
OEKO-TEX
Stock Group is focused on increasing the proportion of Nordic Swan Ecolabelled products and on having more textile products with OEKO-TEX certification.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a product certification that sets requirements for the content of chemical substances that are – or are suspected of being – harmful to our health. OEKO-TEX® is the world’s leading health labelling for textiles.
